This fantastic Blue Mountains experience includes a must-do ride on the thrilling
Scenic Railway and a spectacular hiking experience to Ruined Castle. We
traverse the Jamieson Valley and climb one of the most visible and
remarkable landmarks, the Ruined Castle. The 360 degree views from the
rocky battlement of Ruined Castle is a stunning climax to this walk.
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before returning.

Important: While
we always endeavour to take you on your preferred date, if we don't have
minimum numbers on the day, we will call you to reschedule, or where
another date is not possible, refund your booking in full. If you are a
solo traveller please email us for availabililty before booking.
Fitness level Required: Full day walk. Medium to Hard bushwalk with some hilly sections requiring moderate
level of fitness. Suitable for those with a good level of fitenss. This
is a 13km walk.
This is a full day hike between 5 -6.5 hours duration.
- Optional Sydney Hotel Pickups (if required) are at approximately at 7.15am. Note for those choosing hotel pickups we will also include a
special
sightseeing trip of the Blue Mountains' famous icons or a possibly a
special request.
- Meet time in the Blue Mountains at 9.30am
- Finish time approxinately 4.00pm
- Arrival time back in Sydney (for those choosing this option) will be
approximately 6.45pm

Things To Bring
WHAT TO BRING:
We suggest bringing a backpack to carry all your personal items. You may
like to bring a camera to capture the amazing scenery you'll experience
along the way. To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least
1.5 litres of drinking water (on extremely hot days double this amount).
We also recommend a hat and sunscreen.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Please wear comfortable clothes, hat and enclosed walking shoes. Wear
clothes to maintain a comfortable body temperature, we suggest wearing
layers, Do not wear jeans as you may overheat or they may not dry
quickly if it rains. High heeled shoes, thongs, sandals or
skimpy shoes should not be used. Bring a lightweight wet weather jacket
and if cold a warm woollen hat and gloves and jumper.

Fully guided tour by our professional bushwalking guide including a one way trip on the Scenic Railway. We provide a delicious picnic lunch and refreshments.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
* Cancellations received 3 days (72 hours) or less will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
* Please also note that failure to arrive will incur a fee of 100% of full tour cost.
* Transfers to another date must be made 4 days or more prior to departure.
Conditions of travel
The Company reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payments have not been received by the Company within the times specified. It is a condition of carriage that a passenger has paid all tour monies prior to the departure of the tour. The Company reserves the right to alter the itinerary or cancel a tour without notice as may be found necessary for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, road, weather or traffic conditions, track closures, operational conditions and requirements. Where a tour is cancelled prior to the departure date we shall endeavour to offer the nearest possible alternative tour (subject to a refund or payment to cover any tour price difference) or, it this is not acceptable, refund your monies in full. All additional expenses incurred as a result of any delays, cancellations or alterations will be the sole responsibility of the passenger. A minimum number is required to operate our day tours. Where sufficient numbers cannot be achieved, the Company reserves the right to cancel a scheduled departure or request you transfer to another date, if an alternative date is not available your money will be refunded in full. Any special passenger requirements must be notified to the Company at the time of booking. No passenger will be permitted to embark or continue on the tour while their mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of the Company, such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves, or whereby they become objectionable to other passengers, or they become a hazard to themselves or other passengers.

Pick-Up from a Sydney Hotel
Pay just $30 extra per person (almost the same cost as public transport) we will organise a pick-up from any hotel in Sydney's CBD (Central Business District) or Manly area.
Meeting in the Mountains.
Meet outside the cafe at Scenic World, 1 Violet Street, Katoomba. Look out for your guide who will be wearing a Life's An Adventure shirt.
Train Station Pick-Up
